Thank You, Red Faction Fans

It was recently announced the Red Faction series would be coming to an end. Red Faction has been a part of Volition for quite a long time now so it is rather strange not see people around the office working on it. To give some perspective, the first Red Faction title started its existence as Descent 4 before we made enough changes we decided to make it a whole new franchise. We’ve been working on Red Faction for well over a decade and you the fans have made this possible.
Now that the Red Faction series has come to an end, all of us at Volition want to send a huge thanks to all of the Red Faction fans out there. I realize it sounds cliché to say this, but I can honestly say without your passion and enthusiasm none of this would have been possible. Your excitement over Red Faction made it easy for us to work hard to make games we hoped you would enjoy, and I can’t thank you all enough for taking this ride with us.
While it is sad to see Red Faction come to an end, this is also an exciting time for Volition. With games like Saints Row: The Third and Insane being worked on, we are very eager for you to experience the latest coming out of Volition. Hopefully these new games will earn the same level of passion you have always shown with Red Faction.

Great stuff from you, man. Ive read your stuff before and youre just too awesome. I love what youve got here, love what youre saying and the way you say it. Noooooooo you guys CANT end it at a horrible ending like armageedon! Guerilla was so free yet armageddon was short and boring. I have saints row 3 and its an alright game. But i would buy red faction games any day over that. I LOVE the story to red faction. At least make one more great game [as if you guys have made me happy already]. To all you at Volition DONT GIVE UP. Dont let Red Faction end here! DO NOT GIVE UP!!!
Hey guys. I was a huge Red Faction fan since the first one, and hey, Armageddon is very very cool! thanks for that game! it is worth to call it a great ending!

There is something SOOOO terrible about this. I loved Guerrilla, open-world, destroy everything. I mean it was awesome, and the multiplayer in my opinion is the most underrated MP ever. It wasn't filled with overpowered weapons like some MPs are, everything was fair. You wanted a good weapon, you had to go get it. It just saddens me as a die-hard fan of the series. I hope they reconsider, and make another one like guerrilla. I'm 32 years old and I still play Guerrilla, and I still love it.
P.S.: just point me in the direction of the nearest petition to sign jeje
I still hope THQ changes its mind and do another Red Faction, specially if it's a third-person game, like Guerrilla. Howerver, thanks for all these great games you brought, Volition and THQ.

red faction is not complete yet...not without making a re-made version of the original 2001 red faction!!
Halo done it with combat evolved, and its a hit, to go back in time.
If you did this with red faction 1...wow...that would be a huuuuge hit, that would be a dream come true!!
Red faction 1 is the best game in history so pelase re make it! new graphics.
You guys should just cash in on the HD releases everyone is doing, I'd like to see a Red Faction 1+2 HD, the first was best IMO.
