ok, so it might be just me, but i really really hate when a bunch of stupid "guerrillas" suddenly decide to join my cause, and then shoot me in the face / stand on my remote charges and refuse to move / suicide on the gun of an EDF / shoot each other to death / etc and then, when THEY die, I LOSE MORALE.
i hate it! i don't want to get less salvage from my missions just because there are a bunch of fanatic suicidal nutcases following me everywhere.
is there any mod that makes guerrillas not join you, or removes the morale loss from when they die (for any reason), or anything along those lines? is there a line i could edit to do this?
thanks

i hate that too the same happened with me too by a guerilla raid they ran into that building half the building exploded i lose moral and get just +3 moral extra because of those retards driving around like nuts. but i dont think it's possible since it's hardcoded i think

It's a realistic side-effect. They may be unreasonably incompetent at times, but they're civilians with minimal experience trying to help you. The fact you don't have the authority/rank to say no, the fact they're making their own choices and sometimes you will suffer for them is part of what makes the game interesting. Do you play only for maximum efficiency in collecting 'loot'?
i play for fun, and constantly having to babysit an abominable AI is not fun.
this is a mod request, not a "let's debate gameplay" thread. do you also hijack "every upgrade at the start" threads and tell them it ruins the progression?
No, I was offering an opinion. It's an open discussion. Calm down x]
I'm suggesting there are plenty of things in RF:G that can be annoying or awesome simply depending upon your state of mind - but seriously, you aren't obligated to babysit them. It's not an objective. They fuck up, let them fuck up. If it causes problems, be angry. Mason would. Feel free to mod it out, but I'd say if you're going to mod out one challenge, mod out the entire EDF and turn on god mode just in case you fall off a cliff.
Speaking on a more technical note, removing an entire AI faction/function might not be too easy just yet, but I wish you luck working it out.
Well, the good thing about mods is: Noone is foced to use them. ;) Thats why i also included mods like the God Mode into the ModManager package. The God Mode could seriously damage the singleplayer experience, but it is also very helpful when testing other mods or when you just want to have some destructive fun. In the end everyone has to dicide for himself whether to use it or not.

Oddly, I've never been run over by them in my playthrough on Hard on the 360 version. I guess I play paranoid =)
Would you prefer that you still get the guerillas, but not lose morale when they die, or would you like them removed completely? I've been lookin into making this mod, but it looks like it will be MUCH easier to just remove the morale loss. What I have so far is removing the reinforcements where it says "Guerilla Reinforcements" but I can't seem to find the tables to remove random civilians joining in, "Guerilla Joined".
I can make the mod to not lose morale easily, in fact I'll just do that and post it later. I was going to see if I can make another mod to have an army of guerillas or no guerillas, or something fun like that.
having no morale loss would be great! let me know whenever you post it
Ok I uploaded the No Guerilla Morale Loss mod to Faction Files. You will still get morale loss from civilian deaths. Use this mod with HazardX's ModManager.
