RFG 360 Avatar Items!

Update: These items are now available on the XBL Marketplace. A few months ago, we asked our community what they wanted when it came to RFG-themed Avatar clothing. We took your ideas and went to the drawing board to create items that worked well within the world of the Avatars, the results of which you can see below.

Along with Mason's outfit and the Marauder suit, here is a preview of the three individual shirts and another preview of the two hats and Marauder helmet (The Marauder helmet can be purchased separately from the armor). All of the Avatar items are set to be released on Thursday, February 4th via Xbox LIVE at which time pricing will be available as well. To our fans on the PlayStation Network, we'll have some items for use in PlayStation Home as well, just at a later date. I'll post up pictures and the release date for those once it's finalized and ready to go. Comment

But specifically for PS3: will you release some avatars (pictures) to update your profile? Not home stuff I mean by this question!

Why no sledgehammer?

This really annoyes me about avatar items yor never see any weapons, why? If you can play a game filled with guns why shouldn't your avatar get one?

Like a Gears of War Lanser rifle would be really cool.

I can see that including a sledgehammer as an avatar item would not be allowed by M$ as it is clearly a weapon; however I was very disappointed to see that the Ostrich Hammer was not included either... There is already a 'chicken with pulley' item available for downloading from the avatar marketplace (although from which game collection escapes me), so surely a rubber ostrich, perhaps being held by the avatar by the legs, could not possibly cause offence? Even better, it would continue the running gag and be an awesome item to see an avatar holding when browsing through the friends list. :3

That said, i was persuaded to buy the Alex Mason suit (!) :D
