Disable the Grass - Is it possible

Has anyone figured out how to turn off the grass in the game. I get great FPS until I try running through a field of that stuff...it just looks funny as well.

He doesn't see any grass because he has been smoking it all XD

Huge fan of RF1, still active in the community in fact. Somewhat of an RF2 fan, in fact RF2 is how I discovered the series. Fan of RF:G.
I have come back from a previous oppressed life for RFA!

umm, FYI grass can only be found in oasis sector. Although they look more like Aloe Veras than normal grass.... XD
