I wanted to start this section off since an empty forum can be kind of intimidating to be the first per

I'm V-Singular, the Community Manager here at Volition. You've probably seen me around these forums a lot digging up content for all of you on the world of Red Faction, and I try to get to know as many members on here as possible.

I hope to see a lot of new people introducing themselves in this section and maybe some of you old-timey members can as well, kind of a resurgence...

Welcome to the forums everyone and if you want to know more about me, feel free to ask questions, but I can't guarantee an answer to all of them.

I'm a relatively new member to the team here, started back in July of this year. I didn't even realize I've been here that long already. Time sure flies when you enjoy your job.

I have not. I used to play RF1 a bunch back when it first came out, but then I didn't play it again until our match vs. the community a few months back.

Everything started with Pong and Pinball for me. While growing up, my father owned an arcade, so I was always the quarter monkey after work, going to each machine and lugging around the big cart with a broken wheel. Because of that, I still own quite a few full arcade cabinets and pinball machines, but my prized possession right now is a 100% working and original Missile Command cabinet. It needs to be cleaned up a bit, but it's still awesome.

Growing up I had an Atari 5200, but when my dad brought an NES home in 1985 (early NYC launch) with Super Mario Bros., I couldn't stop playing. Some of those early favorites include "Ghosts 'N Goblins", "Burgertime", "Gradius", and "Jackal".

Hope that answered your question.

Answered with much gusto! Damn man, would loved to have had an Arcade in the family when I was a kid! Earliest game I played was Wolfenstein 3D and a game called Wreckers. :P

Damn! Nice! Hopefully someday I'll have room for a few arcade cabs of my own :D
