Red Faction: Armageddon Transmedia Panel @ SDCC
I hope that all of you have your flight and hotel booked for San Diego between July 22nd and 25th, because the San Diego Comic Con International is nearly upon us. Some of you may be worried with fear, maybe even wondering outloud something along the lines of, "Hey, this convention doesn't have the words 'video' or 'game' anywhere in the title!"Fear not! Red Faction: Armageddon will be in full force on the Comic Con floor and taking over the THQ booth (See map here - #5145 in the top left corner.) Not only will we have our giant 12+ foot tall L.E.O. available for everyone to see in get in, but we also have an entire panel devoted to the universe that is Red Faction.
Saturday - July 24th @ 3:30-4:30 in Room 9
The biggest event in the mythology of one of the world's most popular video games is also a flashpoint in the launch of the Red Faction multiplatform universe. Get exclusive information about it and pick up tips on world-building and game concept development, along with info about the partnership with Syfy in this in-depth Q&A with creator Danny Bilson (EVP Core Games, THQ), Lenny Brown (director IP development, THQ), Hollywood's leading Transmedia producer Jeff Gomez (Avatar, Transformers, Tron Legacy, Men In Black 3D), Alan Seiffert (SVP, Syfy Ventures), and Erika Kennair (director, development, Syfy).
Did we also mention that if you happen to be one of the first 280 through the doors to sit down, you'll get a free copy of Red Faction: Guerrilla for either PS3 or 360?
In addition to the 60-minute long panel, everyone on this community will have a special opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the Red Faction universe directly to the five panel speakers about the Red Faction Transmedia effort. This could include questions about the Red Faction fiction, the potential Red Faction movie, and just about anything else. If your question has to do specifically with Red Faction: Armageddon, it should be asked in this thread.
Not only will we be recording the entire panel (and posting it here for all that can't make it to San Diego), but we'll be taping answers to a bunch of your questions taken straight from the comment thread. Make sure to post yours before July 20th. There's even more Comic Con news to be posted between now and the time doors open on the 22nd, so keep your eyes peeled.
